Travel Instructions:

- All visitors, traveling to the state of Eritrea must obtain an entry visa before traveling through the Eritrean Embassy in the country of residence, after completing the required forms.

 -The amount allowed in the possession of the traveler - upon entry and exit - from the State of Eritrea is a maximum of $10,000.

- Credit card service is not available in the country.

- Visitors wishing to visit recreational places outside the capital, Asmara, must obtain a permit (Travel permit) from the concerned authorities in the country, in order to ensure safety.
